The Welcoming Interactive: Inclusive Communities, Strong Economies highlights successful practices and inspiring stories about immigrant inclusion, spanning the programs, policies, and partnerships in the Welcoming Standard and beyond, including economic development, connected communities, civic engagement, government leadership, and more. Attendees learn about other communities’ local innovations and come away with new ideas and energy to take back home.

At the Welcoming Interactive 2021, we will explore critical issues like how to navigate changes at the federal level and how to counter hate.

Connections

The Welcoming Interactive is a key moment for us to reconnect and learn from each other’s experiences. It is also a time for establishing new connections. Attendees consistently report that at the Welcoming Interactive, they meet new colleagues that they keep in touch with after the conference.

Learning

We offer beginner to advanced-level sessions to help you deepen your local welcoming work and workshops to build skills like writing op-eds or hosting community dialogues.
